The PP, with 33.2% estimated vote, is 1.4 points ahead of the PSOE

The CIS has carried out the monthly barometer with the usual questions such as vote estimation, and current questions such as the conflict in the Middle East, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, amnesty or the environment.

Political leaders and vote estimation

Regarding the estimated vote in December, the Popular Party would be the first political force with 33.2% of the votes, the PSOE would be the second force with 31.8%, SUMAR would achieve 11.8% and VOX 8 ,5%.

Regarding preferences for President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez continues to be the favorite for 27.9% of the total number of respondents, Alberto Núñez Feijóo is 11.4 points away with 16.5%, Yolanda Díaz is the favorite for 8.5%, and Isabel Díaz Ayuso is in fourth position with 5.3% and ahead of Santiago Abascal (4.6%).

It must be remembered that this is an open question where the respondent can mention whoever they want. Of those surveyed who give their opinion, 41.4% prefer Pedro Sánchez as President of the Government, 16.9 points ahead of Feijóo, whom 24.5% prefer, with Yolanda Diaz in third position with 12. .6%.

Regarding the evaluation of the leaders of each party, Vice President Yolanda Díaz is the best rated with 4.46, the President of the Government remains at 4.29, Feijóo in third position with 4.14 and Santiago Abascal at 2.78.

The PSOE is considered the party closest to its own ideas by 26.2% of those surveyed, followed by the PP (by 23.8%).

Main problems

The economic crisis continues to be the problem that most affects Spaniards with 39%, in second place is health (17.2%) and for 15.5% it is "problems related to the quality of employment." ”.

Amnesty Law

Regarding the proposed Amnesty Law, 93.8% of Spaniards claim that they know it or have heard about it, but when asked if they have read it or not, 72.4% acknowledge that they have not read the text , only 10.4% claim to have read it.

When asked if the demonstrations called in front of the PSOE headquarters for disagreeing with the Amnesty Law are justifiable, 44.7% of Spaniards assure that these demonstrations cannot be justified, while 40.8% do. justify.

Armed conflicts

Russia's invasion of Ukraine is something that worries 68.1% of Spaniards "a lot or quite a lot", while the conflict in the Middle East worries them even more, with 73.1% stating that they are "very or quite worried" about it. Furthermore, 44.4% of Spaniards indicate that “the extensions of the temporary ceasefire in Gaza for the exchange of hostages are not going to improve the prospects for ending the conflict.”

Regarding the environment, 78.2% feel “very or quite concerned,” and 19.4% claim that they are “little or not at all concerned.”

These and other data are collected in the monthly December barometer that was carried out from December 1 to 7 and has a sample of 4,613 interviews. It is available to all media on the website of the Center for Sociological Research (www.cis.es).
