The president of the CIS, José Félix Tezanos, welcomed the ten new scholarship recipients in the institution's assembly hall, where he explained to them the functioning of the organization and showed them the exhibition for the 60th anniversary.
The CIS postgraduate training scholarship program aims to contribute to the training of professionals in the production and analysis of statistical data each year. During their stay at the Center for Sociological Research, the scholarship recipients will learn first-hand about the process of producing statistical information and the development, from its first steps, of a quantitative research project.
The director of Publications and Research Promotion, Rosario H. Sánchez Morales, the director of the Data Bank, María Belén Romero García, the director of the Cabinet, Óscar Iglesias, and the head of the Development service participated in the presentation event. to Research, Santiago Sánchez.
